At the Dean's Office of Technical Institute of Duhok, affiliated with Duhok Polytechnic University, a meeting was held between the Institute’s Dean representatives of Finest Solar Solutions and Itel Energy Iraq.

As part of strengthening the Institute’s relations with technological and scientific centres in the Kurdistan Region and worldwide, and with the aim of advancing the scientific, practical, and professional competencies of students, enabling them to receive training in accordance with labour market requirements, Dr. Araz Rajab Ibrahim, Dean of Technical Institute of Duhok, and Samyan Omed, Lecturer and Head of the Department of Mechanic and Solar Energy, met with representatives of the two companies. The meeting included discussions on preparing an offer and a plan to establish an advanced laboratory specialized in solar energy at the Institute.

Technical Institute of Duhok is one of the six technical institutes affiliated with Duhok Polytechnic University and is one of the prominent and well-recognized academic institutions in Duhok Governorate. In addition to its four medical departments, the Institute has five engineering departments, with the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Solar Energy being regarded as one of the Institute’s main and important departments.
