Duhok Polytechnic University Concludes Two Training Courses for Government Personnel
Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ari Adel, President of Duhok Polytechnic University, and in the presence of the Vice President of the University, the Dean of Duhok Technical Institute, the Director General of Duhok Directorate of Education, the Assistant Director of Duhok Municipality, the Directors of the East and West Directorates of Education, as well as a number of academic staff and employees, the Dean of Duhok Technical Institute announced the conclusion of two important training courses designed to enhance the capacities of government personnel in Duhok Governorate.
The two courses were organized at Duhok Technical Institute. The first course focused on First Aid and was delivered by the Nursing Department to 24 staff members from the East and West Directorates of Education. The second course covered AutoCAD and Civil 3D and was organized by the Surveying Department for 25 employees from Duhok Municipality Directorate.
In her remarks, the President of the University reaffirmed that the University is not merely an institution for theoretical education; rather, its primary mission is to serve the community and enhance the professional and practical competencies of the region’s workforce. She also highlighted that the University’s community services continue uninterrupted. Immediately following the completion of these two courses, participants from Duhok Municipality Directorate will commence a new training course entitled Engineering Design with SketchUp, which will be delivered by the Building and construction Technology Department at Duhok Technical Institute.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, appreciation was extended to the Deanship of Duhok Technical Institute, the academic departments, faculty members, organizers, and all participants for the successful implementation of these training activities. Certificates of participation were also presented to the trainees by the attendees.
