In the presence of Asst. Lect. Hoger Anwar, Deputy Dean of Technical Institute of Duhok, and under the supervision of Lect. Semyan Omed, Head of the Department of Mechanical and Solar Energy, the closing ceremony of a specialized training course on Engineering Design and 3D Printing was held.

At the beginning of the ceremony, appreciation and thanks were extended to the course instructors, (Hatim Ibrahim and Sipal Mohammed Nadhif), for delivering the theoretical and practical sessions. Appreciation was also expressed to the students and participants for their participation and benefit from the course. At the conclusion of the ceremony, certificates of participation and completion were distributed to the course participants.

The course was organized for staff members of the College of Engineering – Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Zakho and was conducted over five days, from 6 to 10 September 2026, comprising a total of 15 training hours. The course aimed to strengthen academic cooperation and facilitate the exchange of expertise between the two institutions.

The training focused on engineering design and modeling using SOLIDWORKS, along with its application in 3D printing, with the aim of integrating digital design skills with modern manufacturing technologies.
