With the aim of enhancing the exchange of scientific ideas and strengthening the academic and professional network in the future, Asst. Prof. Dr. Diyar Ahmad Saib Sadiq, general director of the Scientific Research Center at Duhok Polytechnic University , participated in a conference organized by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), which was held on October 6-8, 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Conference Center in Tunisia.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Diyar Ahmad Saib Sadiq, explained that the conference was organized to facilitate the exchange of academic ideas in Tunisia, Amman, and Cairo, as well as to strengthen relationships and cooperation among researchers and academics from around the world, particularly from the Middle East and North Africa. The conference aimed to establish collaborative relationships, create opportunities for cooperation, and follow up and discuss outcomes related to future cooperation strategies.

He also indicated that the conference included several important sessions, along with multiple discussions on topics related to academic leadership, sustainability of partnerships, regional cooperation, and development.
