Within the framework of the continuous efforts and initiatives of Duhok Polytechnic University – the Scientific Research Center, aimed at supporting academic staff and providing a suitable environment for creativity and scientific research, a special seminar was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Diyar Saib, the Director of the Scientific Research Center, at the Presidency’s seminar hall, for the teaching staff of the Technical College of Duhok.

This seminar was organized with the aim of developing the capabilities of the academic staff and enhancing their role in community service. During the seminar, the status of scientific research was discussed in detail, with emphasis on three main axes.

The first axis: addressed improving the quality of research and developing new plans to elevate scientific research to an advanced international level.

The second axis: focused on addressing obstacles, discussing the challenges that hinder researchers, and proposing appropriate solutions to these issues.

The third and final axis: highlighted the encouragement of teamwork, emphasizing the importance of forming “research groups” in which several instructors collaborate in coordination to achieve better results.

It is anticipated that this activity will be presented as an important step for the academic staff of all colleges and technical institutes affiliated with Duhok Polytechnic University, with the aim of strengthening the scientific environment at the university and supporting researchers in producing new and valuable scholarly work.
