Staff of DPU Welcomes Delegation from Istanbul Okan University


In an effort to strengthen academic ties, a meeting was held on 2024/12/18 with Professor Dr. Muayad Barakat, Vice President of Duhok Polytechnic University, and the staff of Duhok Polytechnic University to welcome the delegation of Istanbul Okan University, led by Emre Ucsular, President of Istanbul Okan University. The meeting discussed further cooperation between the two universities, aiming to establish new programs for students. It was agreed that a significant number of students from Duhok Polytechnic University who wish to pursue Master's or Doctorate degrees would be eligible for a 50% discount on tuition fees at the Turkish University. This partnership also focuses on enhancing higher education and scientific research in the Kurdistan Region.
