Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence Between Three Universities in the Kurdistan Region


A joint conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI) was held today, Wednesday, November 27, 2024, between three universities in the Kurdistan Region, attended by Professor Dr. Aree Adel, President of Duhok Polytechnic University, Professor Dr. Minhal Ilham Abdul, President of Akrê University of Applied Sciences, and Assistant Professor Dr. Payman Ramadan Ahmed, President of University of Raparin. The first meeting discussed preparations for the international conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI).

During the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the three presidents, and discussions took place regarding the importance of the AI conference and its preparations. Furthermore, it was confirmed that the joint conference of the three universities (Duhok Technical University, Akrê University, and Raperin University) will be held on September 18, 2025, in the city of Akrê.
