Legal Administration

Overview of the Department

The Legal Administration Department at the Technical Institute of Administration – Duhok, part of Duhok Polytechnic University, was originally established in the academic year 2009–2010. After several years of operation, the department temporarily suspended its activities between 2014–2015 and 2022–2023, but it resumed operations in the 2023–2024 academic year. Since then, the department has actively provided education and training in the field of legal administration.

The program follows the Bologna Process and spans two academic years, consisting of four semesters and a summer training period in both public and private sector institutions. Graduates of the Legal Administration Department are well-prepared to work in various legal and administrative roles across both sectors. High-achieving students have the opportunity to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Law at public or private colleges.
