technical.college.of.zakho In order to elevate the scientific standards and familiarize instructors with the latest technological developments in the field of scientific research, a productive workshop titled "Designation of Research Platforms" was organized on June 30, 2026, for all academic staff members holding scientific titles at the Zakho Technical College.

The workshop, which took place at the college's Conference Hall, was presented by Mr. (Asst. Lect. Ayad Abdulrahman Salim), Head of the Research Center at the Zakho Technical College. The primary objective of the workshop was to clarify the digital aspects and the new electronic system, enabling instructors to publish their scientific work more easily and further enhance the university's academic standing.

Throughout the workshop, the presenter highlighted in detail three main pillars directly related to the daily work of the faculty:

• Utilization of the University Platform: Explaining the correct methodology for working on the local researcher platform embedded within the official university website.
• Mechanism of Research Registration: Outlining the necessary procedures and steps to register scientific research on the central platform of Duhok Polytechnic University.
• Process of Reward Forms: Explaining how to fill out the forms for financial and honorary rewards dedicated to high-impact published research.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the floor was opened for questions and remarks from the attending faculty members. The participants enriched the topic with their diverse insights and perspectives, discussing all pillars and subjects through their inquiries, which added significant value and depth to this academic event.
