University Vice Presidents Meet with International Delegation


On Monday, January 22, 2024, a delegation from Cowater International, comprising Mark Joseph, Brian Michel, and Mr. Roger, was welcomed at the university by Prof. Yaman Sami Sharif, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Nozt Sadiq, Vice President for Student Affairs, and other university representatives. The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration and initiating several projects aimed at strengthening the skills of university staff, including the Career Development Center, Media Directorate, and IT Directorate, and advancing the university's IT systems, especially the DARFAT Platform. These initiatives are part of the Isdeharak project, funded by the European Union and the German organization GIZ, and supported by multiple governmental bodies in the Kurdistan Region and the Federal Republic of Iraq.

This meeting marks the beginning of a promising step, laying the groundwork for future collaborations. The university is looking forward to fostering a long-term relationship with Cowater International and other international organizations, aiming to bring forth innovative projects and opportunities that will benefit the university and beyond.
