The President of DPU Welcomes a Delegation from the U.S. Consulate


The Cisco Center was inaugurated at Duhok Polytechnic University with financial support from the U.S. Consulate.

On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, Professor Dr. Aree Adel, President of Duhok Polytechnic University, along with the university staff, welcomed Mr. Adam Sigleman, Deputy Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, and Ms. Kim Strollo, Public Affairs Officer at U.S. Consulate General Erbil.

The meeting covered several important topics, including Iraqi IREX projects, summer training programs, career development centers, job opportunities, and the organization of workshops and training courses for university staff and graduates with financial support from the U.S. Consulate.

At the end of the meeting, the university president and the delegation visited the Cisco Center laboratories, where they closely examined the center’s facilities and staff.
