The General Consul of the Republic of South Korea was received by the President of the DPU


On January 12th, 2025, along with other members of the university’s administrative body, Prof. Dr. Aree Adel received a special guest, Mr. Seungcheol Lim, the General Consul of the Republic of South Korea, who was accompanied by the director of the institution, Dr. Azad Najar.

The attendees of the meeting included representatives from Kurdistan Innovation Institute and citizens of the Badinan area and the discussions centered on developing vocational and educational innovations within the KRG.

Additionally, all parties involved acknowledged the fact that it would be crucial to expand scientific and vocational cooperation in the upcoming months.

Moreover, the staff from the university will also be active participants in the 5th Korean-Kurdistan Economic Forum focusing on business investment and expanding economic collaboration.

For the purposes of cooperation in modern innovations for technology and entrepreneurship, it seeks to further develop endeavors from the two centers, which is committed to deepen new changes among students and faculties of Duhok Polytechnic University and the citizens of the Badinan region.
