The 4th International Conference on the Quality of Education and Teaching in Iraq


The 4th International Conference on the Quality of Education and Teaching in Iraq was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research/ Kurdistan Region (Dr. Aram Mohammad Kader) and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Aree Adel, president of Dohuk Polytechnic University. Additionally, Dr. Ghassan Mohammad Sadiq, chairman of the Committee for the Development of Youth Sports in Iraq, also attended. The slogan for the conference was "Learning in Times of Crises, Challenges, and Consequences."

On Saturday, March 6, 2024, Dr. Sabah Wais, counselor of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, members and directors of the 'Aridh Gilgamesh' Community for Research and Communication, the Dean of the Business and Economics Department at the University of Mosul, along with a number of Iraqi representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, advisors, general directors, researchers, and instructors attended the 4th International Conference.

The welcoming speech was delivered by the DPU deputy for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yaman Sami Sharif. "The conference was attended by delegates from 10 different countries, and 80 delegates from over 100 countries attended the conference. The delegations of the conference were divided into 7 Halls, making a total of eight academic sessions," said Dr. Yaman.

On the other hand, the speech for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research was delivered by Dr. Sabah Ibrahim Wais, counselor of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research. He praised Duhok Polytechnic University and its President. Finally, he stressed the necessity of having more conferences similar to this one.
