Obstacles to Implementing Student Training Discussed


A delegation from Duhok Polytechnic University, led by Prof. Dr. Aree Adel, President of the University, attended a meeting with several university presidents, vice presidents, and deans of colleges and technical institutes. The delegation included Assistant Professor Dr. Nawzat Sadiq, Vice President for Student Affairs; Assistant Professor Dr. Dalshir Ahmed Mohammed, Dean of Technical College and Institute of Zakho; Dr. Kurdman Mohammed Ali, Dean of Technical Institute of Shekhan; and Mr. Azad Piro, Director of Educational Programs.

The delegation participated in a workshop titled “Obstacles to Implementing Student Training in Technical Institutes,” hosted by Sulaimani Polytechnic University. The workshop aimed to strengthen cooperation between universities and the private sector, share new knowledge, and empower students through effective training programs.

Directors and members of the summer training implementation committees from various universities discussed key challenges and exchanged perspectives. The workshop concluded with a set of proposals, insights, and practical solutions designed to improve training systems, better prepare students for the job market, and enhance their professional orientation.
