DPU Hosts Seminar on Fulbright Scholarship Program
Duhok Polytechnic University, in collaboration with the AMIDEAST, successfully hosted a seminar on the Fulbright Foreign Student Program on Wednesday, 15 February, 2024.
The seminar offered attendees an in-depth overview of the Fulbright Foreign Student program, including how to apply for the scholarship. Mr. Stephen Kochuba, the country director of Amideast, led the session, providing valuable insights into the program's benefits and application process. Then, Mr. Handren Balaky, the scholarship and exchange program, present the application requirements and instructions were discussed. Fulbright allows outstanding students and professionals worldwide to study at U.S. universities to further their careers as well as promote international cultural understanding.
This seminar served as a unique opportunity for participants to learn about this transformative program, which aims to empower and inspire through a dynamic two-year in 2025. Attendees left equipped with the knowledge and motivation to apply for the program and take the first steps towards launching their innovative future.
Notably, the Fulbright program is the U.S. Department of State’s program with funding provided by the U.S. government and administered by AMIDEAST in the Middle East and North Africa region.
