On March 12, 2024, in the presence of the President of Duhok Polytechnic University, Prof. Dr. Aree Adel, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yaman Sami Shareef, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nawzat Sadiq Ahmed, Vice President for Student Affairs, Director of the ISPO Organization, and Head of the Italian Foundation for Development Cooperation in the Office of Amman, the Director General of Dohuk Governorate Health, the Dean of Dohuk Technical Institute, a number of professors, representatives of Sassari University, and the main organizers of the project and their representatives. Also, Representatives were supervisors, trainers and a number of students who held a workshop in the conference hall.

In this workshop, participants presented the main achievements of the project and the results of the evaluation conducted during the past three years to strengthen the health sector of medical departments in colleges and technical institutes at the DPU. On the other hand, 54 clinical supervisors, 48 trainers, and 152 clinical trainers from the medical departments of the technical colleges and institutes of the University of Duhok and the were trained in this project. More than 2,000 students participated in the summer training, and more than 2,800 students benefited from simulation and training lessons at the Clinical Skills Training Center. As well as a computer laboratory, two physical therapy laboratories, and the provision of laboratory equipment, office equipment and medical supplies to participating institutions.
