Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ari Adel, President of Duhok Polytechnic University, and under the patronage of Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fattah, Dean of the Technical Institute in Amedi, a ceremony was held to commemorate the martyrdom of Sheikh Abdul-Salam Barzani and his comrades, coinciding with the signing of the book “The Art of Oratory”, at the hall of the Technical Institute in Amedi.

The ceremony took place on Monday, 15 December 2025, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ari Adel, President of Duhok Polytechnic University, the head of the 18th Branch of the Party, the Dean of the Institute, alongside a large number of governmental and party officials, faculty members, staff, and students of the Institute.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the head of the 18th Party Branch, Mr. Bahram Arif Yasin, delivered a speech highlighting the role and struggle of Sheikh Abdul-Salam Barzani and his comrades in the Kurdish liberation movement. This was followed by a series of national and patriotic songs and poems performed by the poet Shaban Suleiman and the artist Dzhwar Raziki. Additionally, the book “The Art of Oratory” by its author Abdulaziz Mohsen Barzani was presented and discussed by the lecturer Halkft Abdulwahid.

In his speech, the author Abdulaziz Mohsen Barzani expressed his gratitude to the Institute’s administration and to all the distinguished attendees for their participation in this event, followed by the signing and distribution of the book.

At the end of the ceremony, the Technical Institute of Amadiya presented plaques of thanks and appreciation to the supporting figures and participants who contributed to the success of this event.
