ICSET 2024


The 5th International Conference on Sustainable Engineering Techniques (ICSET 2024)

On December 12, 2024, the Fifth International Conference on Sustainable Engineering Technologies (ICSET 2024) was organized by Duhok Polytechnic University in collaboration with the Middle Technical University and Al-Mustaqbal University, held at the Technical Administrative Institute in Duhok.

The conference featured the submission of 422 scientific papers, including:

  • Four papers from researchers in Australia, Malaysia, and the United Arab Emirates.
  • Three papers from Iran and Oman.
  • Two papers from South Korea and Hungary.
  • Two papers from Cyprus, India, and the United States.

Additionally, papers were submitted from Egypt, Bangladesh, Jordan, Russia, Sudan, Tunisia, and Nigeria, bringing the total number of submitted papers to 369, of which 295 papers were approved, while 74 papers were not accepted.

The accepted papers will be published in accredited journals and platforms such as:

  • The journal Processes, published by MDPI, with an impact factor of 2.8.
  • Other journals indexed in Scopus, with an impact factor of 5.1, in collaboration with the Swiss publisher Scientific Net of Switzerland.
  • IOP: Earth and Environmental Science conference series.
