The 5th International Conference on Advanced Science and Engineering (ICOASE 2025) is a hybrid conference organized by the University of Zakho and Duhok Polytechnic University. Building on the success of previous editions held in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2022, this prestigious event will take place from May 07–08, 2025.

About ICOASE

ICOASE serves as a premier forum for presenting innovative research and discussing advanced topics in science, engineering, and their real-world applications. The conference brings together leading academics, researchers, and students to exchange experiences, share findings, and address theoretical and practical challenges.

The event aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, create opportunities for knowledge sharing, and explore the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in science and engineering. Accepted papers undergo a double-blind peer-review process and will be submitted for indexing to IEEE Xplore, the Science Journal of the University of Zakho, and other platforms.

Previous Editions

ICOASE 2018

The inaugural ICOASE, held October 9–11, 2018, hosted 94 papers with technical sponsorship from IEEE. Access the proceedings on IEEE Xplore.

ICOASE 2019

Held April 2–4, 2019, with 63 papers presented, including keynote speeches by international experts. Accepted papers were published in IEEE Xplore and Springer.

ICOASE 2020

A virtual event held during the pandemic from December 23–24, 2020. 44 of 95 submitted papers were published in IEEE Xplore, with others featured in the Science Journal of the University of Zakho.

ICOASE 2022

Organized September 21–22, 2022, the 4th ICOASE featured 71 accepted papers published across IEEE Xplore, AIP, and other indexed journals.
