Pedagogical Training Course

The Pedagogy Center of Duhok Polytechnic University is considered one of the important centers in our university, as it provides teachers with modern pedagogical skills, including guidance, counseling, and implementing curriculum integration with ICT skills and 21st-century skills.

Course Duration:

The program lasts for six months and consists of 6 modules, with each module lasting for 1 month. There are 24 hours of theoretical sessions covering the modalities of university teaching using modern methods and standards.

Course Fee: 500,000 IQD

Course Aims:

• Develop the digital competencies of educational staff. This involves confident, critical, and responsible use of, and engagement with, digital technologies for learning, at work, and for participation in society.
• Construct student-centered learning environments to empower students and effectively engage them in the learning process.
• Help teachers develop competence in areas necessary for effective, facilitative, reflective, innovative, and entrepreneurial teaching.
• Promote entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial learning, which are powerful drivers of economic growth and job creation.
• Implement a competency-based approach to ensure students acquire the knowledge, understanding, and skills essential for success in higher education, careers, and adult life.

• Master's or Ph.D. Certificate (along with equalization if needed).
• Copy of Passport.
