The Cisco Center at Duhok Polytechnic University was established in 2023, collaborating with the American consulate in Erbil and the IREX organization. The collaboration started by training three university members to become instructors for Cisco courses. The instructors are:

The following steps include establishing three labs: CCNA lab, CCNP lab, and Cybersecurity lab. The Cisco Center regularly opens training courses to help students, alumni, or anyone who wants to learn about network-related topics.
